About the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program
First Neighbor Bank, N.A. is participating in FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.
Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

Effective January 1,2011 your NOW or IDLTA account will no longer have unlimited FDIC deposit insurance coverage under FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. This does not affect the separate coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules or the unlimited FDIC insurance coverage of non-interest-bearing transaction accounts.
